Vera asked: I wear a AA width. Will these boots be too wide for my foot?

Sissy asked: Does this boot fit true-to-size? Thank you!

  • Deb: "I wear an 8 and the boots have a little bit of extra room but not enough to make me go down to a 7.5. "
  • Michael: "I'm glad I got your question before I left the computer - am extremely busy and very overtired - but the boots are quite well made - better than I expected - BUT I'm going to have to try to exchange them. I have a large collection of truly classic shoes (C. Dior etc.,) and have noticed that over the last 20 years each size is larger than it used to be - but I found these ran even larger than that. If you're between sizes, order down. IF you're not sure - ORDER DOWN a size or at least a half-size. Cowboy boots ALWAYS run MUCH larger than the stated size - no matter WHAT anyone claims - I didn't expect that to be true of these as they are slim style boots. I'd definitely recommend them - with the proviso that you order smaller than you are used to ordering. I'll be very sad if I'm not able to exchange them...... No they aren't classics, don't have leather soles to break in over time - but they are much more conservative (could wear to work) than most animal print (or in this case hair) shoes or boots. Actually, the hair part is great - much better than I expected - it actually reminds me of a very expensive pocket-book that upset me as a kid (it was made of fetal calf - creeped me out at the time) - I'm commenting on this in case you're worrying about this. Very refined despite the pattern - I'd definitely pick them up. And look like they'll be very comfortable too. (When I say large - I mean MORE than large enough to wear THICK socks with if you usually wear panty-hose with this style of boot - and yes, if you don't - you CAN with these.) A definite DO GET pair! Good luck!"

Karen asked: Does this shoe run narrow? I usually need a narrow width but sometimes can wear a medium width if not too wide. Love this boot and would love to buy it if it is narrow enough.

  • Paat: "I need a wide and they fit lovely. Purchasing a narrow should work well. They are lovely and well crafted shoes. They are true to size. "
  • Eileen: "This show runs what I would call "tight" and if you prefer narrow, you might just want to get this bootie. I wore the bootie all day yesterday with some light socks to help loosen the shoe and it worked.... This is so comfortable that I want it to be my "go to" bootie especially when I have plenty of walking to do.... The bootie is HOT and looks good with skirts and leggings...."
  • Paat: "I need a wide and they fit lovely. Purchasing a narrow should work well. They are lovely and well crafted shoes. They are true to size. "
  • Rebecca S: "It does run narrow. Had to return the shoe because of this. It is a really cute shoe but definitely runs narrow."
  • Amabelle: "I have narrow (and small) feet as well, and I find this pair (M) is just right and comfortable for my feet."
