Ask a Question

Naturalizer asked: Why did you choose this?

Verna asked: Are these suitable for walking in Europe including cobblestone streets, and climbing up steps of ruins?

  • Rosie: "For being on your feet most of the day; these would be confortable shoes. By the end of the day or next day the bottom of your feet does not hurt. I would not recommend them for outter wear shoes. I hope this was helpful."
  • Irene: "I did not find these to be enough of a support for me to engage in extensive walking."
  • Holly: "These shoes are so comfortable. I wear them everyday to work and I don't even want to take them off when I get home. I would definitely buy these again and I just might buy this taupe suede shoe too!!! You would be happy with these shoes!!"
  • Virginia: "Yes, the shoes are very comfortable. On a scale from 1 to 10, I rate them an 8 for support. "
  • LINDA: "I think they should be alright if you have good balance. I am handicap so I do not walk on uneven surfaces but these shoes hold firmly onto your foot."
  • THUC: "I will have to return these shoes because I ordered them online and received one shoe sized 7M and other shoe 7W. What a careless service offered by Naturalizer! The worst is that Naturalizer does not have retail shops anymore. So I have to ship these wrong shoes back and pay for the shipping! Iam not happy with this online purchase !"
  • Kathy: "These have to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I nearly wore mine out and so I bought another pair for next season. Definitely good for walking. Need to make sure of a good fit if you plan to do any climbing. I highly recommend these for comfort, style and walking."
  • audrene: "They are good for walking on cobberstone streets. I do not know about climbing up steps of ruins."
  • Christina: "No"
  • Christina: "No"
  • Lori: "If I were on my way to Europe to walk on cobblestone streets and climb up the steps of ruins, I would definitely where mine. These are very comfortable, durable sores and they look nice too. I wear mine almost everyday. Have fun on your trip."
  • Patricia: "I work as a Unit Secretary and receptionists and I needed a comfortable shoe. They are very comfortable. I work 10-12 hrs a day"
  • Andrea: "I had to return 3 pairs as they were assembled so poorly. Inside stitched to outside. The one pair I was finally able to keep is comfortable but for an all day walking trip, I would go with something else."
  • patricia: "Yes. "

Catherine asked: I have narrow feet. Will the Medium width be too big?

  • Gloria: "I have a narrow foot as well. I wear this shoe with socks, So I find the fit very comfortable."
  • NidiaT.: "Sorry I can"t help. I haven't receive them."
  • Linda: "I have wide foot. May be wide for you. super comfy shoe!"
  • doris: "I wear medium - wide width and these came out of the box perfect for me: so probably would be too big for you. They are very comfortable right out of the box."
  • Sharyn: "I love these shoes. They are very form fitting. I have medium feet so they fit me great. I don't know if the medium will be small enough but you might put a pad in the shoe to make is slimmer. Good lluck"
  • Bonnie: "Probably not. I have always worn narrow shoes but lately am leaning to medium and these fit me nicely, even with thin socks."
  • Lynn: "It may be. I am a medium width and they fit me perfectly."
  • Therese: "I have medium feet and I must admit the medium width is a tight fit ... if you like a little room - medium should be OK. It's a slip-on so it won't fall off ...lol"
  • Laurene: "I found these shoes to be an average width and supportive insole. They are comfortable and I wore them immediately with no break-in period needed. If you have very narrow feet they may be a bit wide, but you can always try them out and send back if they are."
  • L: "I need wide shoes as I age, and the ones I ordered are very comfortable, and even better looking than I expected."
  • Lip: "I bought it for my mom (she's average 58 yrs old) this shoes is more medium to Wide, not narrow, it's truly M. (85% of M and 15 % of Wide),"
  • Patricia: "For me the shoe (I ordered wide) ran a tad narrow, so it just might be perfect for you."
  • P: "Not sure. My feet are comfortable in the shoe. It does not feel tight. With heavier sox, though, it might be okay, /The shoe comes up high enough and encloses the foot so I think it would work."
  • Ellen: "I also have narrow feet with a high arches. I wear my Hartfords with athletic socks and they are fine. My first pair wore out after being to So. Africa, Great Britain, Egypt, and Morocco. They are a great shoe. Wiping they with a damp cloth makes it an easy clean up."
  • Leslie: "I think so. I found the shoes to run wide and loose"
  • Natalie: "Yes..These shoes fits according to your feet size.So you will be good ordering your regular size."
  • EVELYN O'GARA: "yes, I think the medium would be too wide for you. I take a medium width and I find the medium to be a little too roomy. I can get by o.k. but for you I would select a narrow."

Betty asked: I have a high arch should I get wide shoes?

  • Karen: "That's mostly why I buy wide - not so much wide feet as a high arch. These are super comfy for me."
  • Tina: "Wide shoes are much better. I also have a high arch and my feet started hurting me alot so I went with wide shoes in my same size and noticed a big inprovement."
  • Sheryl: "I also have a fairly high arch. I ordered the B width (regular or medium??) and they fit great. I don't think you'll need the wide width. Hope you enjoy as much as I have. Love the shoes."
  • DONNA: "I can't answer that because I bought the same shoe at a store in blue in a wide. They didn't have this color or black so I ordered it on line, same size in wide and the shoes where too small so I returned them."
  • C: "My friend's response: "No. The shoe stretches and does conforms to your foot.""
  • J: "I purchased this shoe in wide due to a bunion. However, I also have a high arch and normally do well in a medium width, but found the wide to be perfect and very comfortable."
  • Donna: "It has no extra arch built in so I could put in my orthotic. I generally do not wear a wide but I did order wide, & it fit fine. The top does not stretch much, fits snug. Very warm & nice to walk in."
  • glenn: "i tried these shoes and with my arch they did not work."
  • Leslie: "I have a high arch and ordered my regular size 8M and they fit great with or without socks. Love these shoes."
  • Mary: "I bought a wide width even though sometimes I can wear a medium. I have been wearing these shoes almost daily since I got them in mid December. I still need to use a shoe horn to get them on, but when they are on, they are the most comfortable shoes I have. I've also bought them in black because they are so comfortable. This doesn't address your high arch, but I hope it helps."
  • C: "I have passed your question on to a friend who recently bought on my recommendation and also loves the shoe. I don't know. I can tell you that the shoe has a lot of give and softens beautifully over time/wear. When I receive an answer from my friend I will get back to you. If you can find the shoe at an online store that offers free returns that may be the way to go."

Eva asked: Is it calf suede?

  • Annette: "I don't know if it's calf suede or not, but these are some of my favorite shoes. They are so comfortable, look cute with jeans and I bought two more pairs. They also run true to size. I've worn them on two vacations and walked all over and my feet did really well in them - no pain whatsoever. Love these shoes!"
  • Belinda B: "Sorry, I was wrong. It is not calf suede. I realized calf suede is a smoother almost leather like material. This is the normal suede, fuzzy to the touch."
  • Belinda B: "Yes, I believe it is. Very nice shoe by the way; somewhat rugged looking but still feminine!"
  • S: "I'm not sure. I have already thrown my box away, but the shoes says upper leather. I love these shoes. So comfy."
